Director of Marketing


  • Develop and implement the brand strategy and marketing plan for Indie Game Studios. Define and execute the strategic and tactical elements to promote our products to customers, retailers and distributors.
  • Work with Development and Sales teams to understand, position, market and sell new games.
  • Develop and Manage marketing budgets to include online, print, event and shows.
  • Develop leveraged, one to many positioning of our new and evergreen game titles.
  • Build relationships and work with distributors to better launch new products through the retail channels. Sell sheets, videos, print advertising and direct relationships.
  • Build relationships and work with reviewers and influencers to launch new products.
  • Determine show schedule, manage events at shows – including those shows that we don’t attend.
  • Manage the day to day activities of a small marketing team.


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or sufficient industry experience equivalent
  • Marketing experience is mandatory, and Marketing experience within the Board Game industry is strongly preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-supporting – willing and able to work in a small company, develop plans on limited budgets and work across different aspects of the game development life cycle.
  • Live in, or willing to relocate to, Indianapolis, IN

Production/ Product Development Manager


Oversee the work involved in taking a prototype to published game:
  • Writing clear and comprehensive rules
  • Ensure consistent use of language across rules and game components
  • Ensure that final game components sent to the printers are 100% accurate
  • Work with game designer, development team and graphic designers to streamline written game rules and components
  • Work with game printers from quote to final production


  • Bachelor’s degree or sufficient industry experience equivalent
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated technical writing ability
  • Rules writing experience, or equivalent industry experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self supporting – willing and able to work in a small company and have many different responsibilities
